Permeable Paving
When it rains, stormwater runs off of paved and roofed surfaces. When large quantities of stormwater runoff rather than soak into the ground, it harms water quality, erodes creeks, causes flooding, and can contribute to long term water insecurity. Permeable paving allows stormwater to soak in and infiltrate groundwater supplies, which reduces runoff, supports water security, and improves water quality in our creeks, rivers, and streams.
